Project summary
The PubCirEco project is aimed at building capacities and skills in the sustainability of students and highly-qualified specialists who will potentially work or are already working in the public sector or enterprises, as well as to increase the inclusiveness of studies and internationalisation of East Neighbourhood countries (Ukraine and Moldova HEI). Its goal is to create a skilled workforce, speed up European integration, and implement the European Green Deal strategy. Strengthening the Eastern Neighbourhood is crucial for Europe’s sustainability. The project will modernize training for professionals and improve students’ competencies,skills, and employability through innovative teaching modules and intensive courses. It will also promote inclusive and digital education and support mobility opportunities for students and academic staff. This project addresses the need to embrace practices of Circular Economy by developing the content
of studies, forming innovative interdisciplinary educational modules, that covers teaching subjects with the ompetencies of smart management, ecological thinking, climate change, inclusion and stakeholder management, organisational sustainability, distributed and collaborative leadership, etc., and formation of e-platform for the interaction of business, government, public organisations and youth.
Development of new study modules, based on results of identified needs of the labour market (public sector institutions and enterprises), workshops, visits to collect good practices and case studies, will provide relevant information and gaps in the development of Circular Economy thinking and will allow to identify which innovative study methods would contribute to capacity building in this area.
