Voluntary sustainability reporting: Data management and implementation

Increasing social expectations and new legal requirements are making sustainability reporting a central topic for organisations. In this course, you will learn how voluntary sustainability reports can be created in a strategic and credible way. You will acquire in-depth knowledge of standards such as ESRS and VSME, practise using ESG indicators and develop the ability to create sustainability reports independently and communicate them effectively using real-life examples.

Contents & focus areas

The university course "Voluntary Sustainability Reporting: Data Management and Implementation" includes the following content and focal points:

  • Reporting requirements in accordance with ESRS and VSME
  • ESG indicators: Assessment, structuring and interpretation
  • Sustainability processes in the company: Concepts & Best Practices
  • Credible, target group-orientated sustainability communication
  • Analysis and assessment of existing Reports
  • Preparation of an individual report according to VSME principles
