Nach drei Jahren intensiver Zusammenarbeit, Entwicklung und internationalem Austausch freuen wir uns sehr, den erfolgreichen Abschluss unseres Erasmus+-Projekts Gate2Math bekanntgeben zu dürfen!

Beim abschließenden Projekttreffen im August 2025 in Tallinn, Estland, hatten wir die Gelegenheit, gemeinsam mit unseren Partnerinstitutionen auf die Ergebnisse und Highlights der Projektlaufzeit zurückzublicken – und diese können sich sehen lassen.

Besonders stolz sind wir darauf, dass wir durch Andriichenko Yevheniia, Schirgi Eva, Softic Selver und Turcin Ioan direkt vor Ort vertreten waren und aktiv zur Umsetzung des Projekts beitragen konnten.

Eine Smart Library für die Mathematik

Herzstück des Projekts ist die Entwicklung der Gate2Math Smart Library – eine offene, intelligente und mehrsprachige Online-Plattform für hochwertige Mathematikressourcen. Unter https://gate2math.eu/oer-smart-library/ stehen ab sofort rund 3.500 Open Educational Resources (OERs) zur Verfügung – frei zugänglich und nutzbar für Lehrende, Lernende und Bildungsinstitutionen weltweit.

Die Inhalte wurden speziell für den Mathematikunterricht in der Sekundarstufe, der beruflichen Bildung sowie dem tertiären Bildungsbereich (v.a. Ingenieurwissenschaften) konzipiert. Sie decken ein breites Spektrum an Themen ab – von Algebra über Analysis bis hin zu Statistik – und sind verfügbar in sieben Sprachen:

🗣️ Englisch, Portugiesisch, Spanisch, Katalanisch, Rumänisch, Deutsch und Estnisch

Didaktisch aufbereitet in vielfältigen Formaten, wie zum Beispiel:

• interaktive Übungen
• Erklärvideos
• Animationen
• Präsentationen
• Arbeitsblätter
• visuelle Darstellungen und Grafiken

Ein gemeinsamer Erfolg

Das Projekt wurde von einem starken Konsortium getragen, bestehend aus Universitäten, Fachhochschulen und Bildungseinrichtungen aus ganz Europa. Gemeinsam haben wir:

• Qualitätsstandards für OER entwickelt und evaluiert
• Trainings, Workshops und internationale Wettbewerbe (UIC & SIC) veranstaltet
• ein digitales Bewertungstool für Mathematikressourcen erarbeitet
• Publikationen in Fachzeitschriften veröffentlicht
• und ein nachhaltiges, offenes Bildungsangebot geschaffen, das auch über das Projektende hinaus Bestand haben wird.

Successful Project Completion: Gate2Math Goes Online!

After three years of intensive collaboration, development, and international exchange, we are thrilled to announce the successful completion of our Erasmus+ project Gate2Math!

At our final project meeting in August 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia, we had the opportunity to reflect on the results and highlights of the project together with our partner institutions – and the outcomes speak for themselves.

A Smart Library for Mathematics

At the heart of the project is the development of the Gate2Math Smart Library – an open, intelligent, and multilingual online platform for high-quality mathematics resources. Starting now, around 3,500 Open Educational Resources (OERs) are available at https://gate2math.eu/oer-smart-library/ – freely accessible and usable by educators, students, and educational institutions worldwide.

The materials were specifically designed for teaching mathematics in secondary education, vocational training, and the tertiary sector, particularly in engineering disciplines. They cover a broad range of topics – from algebra and calculus to statistics – and are available in seven languages:

🗣️ English, Portuguese, Spanish, Catalan, Romanian, German, and Estonian

The content is presented in a variety of didactic formats, including:

• interactive exercises
• explanatory videos
• animations
• presentations
• worksheets
• visualizations and graphics

A Collaborative Achievement

The project was supported by a strong consortium of universities, universities of applied sciences, and educational institutions from across Europe. Together, we have:

• developed and evaluated quality standards for OER
• organized training courses, workshops, and international competitions (UIC & SIC)
• created a digital assessment tool for math resources
• published articles in academic journals
• and above all – built a sustainable and open educational offering that will remain available beyond the project’s end.
