A semester abroad is a big dream for many students, and for our student Manuela, it was also a long-cherished wish. She had long wanted to combine her studies with new experiences, get to know other cultures, and broaden her horizons. With her semester abroad in Lappeenranta, Finland, she was able to make this dream come true. Looking back, it was an incredibly enriching time, both academically, personally, and culturally.
Not keen on a run-of-the-mill degree? Neither was Fabio Steiner.
After finishing school, one thing was clear to him: a traditional degree with lecture-style teaching and rigid timetables? No, thank you. It took a brief stint at university for him to realise what he really wanted — and, more importantly, what he didn’t. When he came across the Marketing and Sales degree programme at FH CAMPUS 02, it marked the beginning of a journey that would ultimately lead to the founding of his own agency, Conversion Club. In our “Graduate of the Month” interview series, Fabio shares what he learned along the way, who he works with today, and why — looking back — he’s glad he had to wait a year.
Five months of hands-on experience, plenty of new insights, and a behind-the-scenes look at an innovative company: I am Bettina Allmer, 22 years old, and I am studying Marketing & Sales in my 6th semester at FH CAMPUS 02. I had the opportunity to complete my internship with the marketing team at RINGANA – a company that stands not only for sustainable products but also for exciting challenges and genuine teamwork.
Sabrina Moser knew early on that she wanted to "do something in business". The decisive moment? An advert in the Kleine Zeitung – which led her directly to the first full-time degree programme in Marketing & Sales at FH CAMPUS 02. Today, she is Marketing Manager at Lindt & Sprüngli Austria – and is responsible for one of the sweetest product ranges in the country: chocolate bars.
In our interview series “Graduate of the Month”, Sabrina talks about formative ‘aha’ moments during her studies, her career steps with international FMCG companies, and why brands today need – more than ever – a clear stance, flexibility, and genuine sensitivity to consumers.
For Sabine Resch, studying at CAMPUS 02 was the first step towards realising her professional visions. Today, she is an expert in employer branding and recruiting and has successfully established Energie Steiermark as an employer brand. In our ‘Graduate of the Month’ interview series, she talks about how she combined her studies with her career as a young mother, which skills have helped her in particular and why lifelong learning has been crucial to her success. An exciting insight into a very dynamic discipline in today's working world!
On March 27, 2025, the event "No risk, no reach: Marketing in times of uncertainty!" took place at FH CAMPUS 02 as part of the "Best of Marketing and Sales" event series. Around 100 guests accepted the invitation from Department Head Ursula Haas-Kotzegger to gain exciting insights into current economic challenges and opportunities...
A purely technical foundation was not enough for Harald Reicher - he wanted to understand economic interrelationships, expand his sales expertise and open up new career opportunities. The solution? A part-time degree programme in Marketing & Sales at CAMPUS 02 UAS. What Harald didn't expect was how much the team spirit within the cohort contributed to his success. Today, as Territory Manager, he is responsible for an entire region and is actively involved in shaping the IT sector. In our ‘Graduate of the Month’ interview series, he reveals how his degree programme has shaped his professional life and why continuous professional development is essential.
In a world where artificial light illuminates the night sky and the connection to nature is fading, a simple look at the starry sky can bring a deeper realisation - not only for personal experience, but also for sustainable strategies in Marketing & Sales. Around 100 first semester Bachelor students of Marketing & Sales had the opportunity to experience just that: an excursion to the Gesäuse National Park, where they not only admired the stars in their full splendour, but also experienced the effects of light pollution at first hand.
