At the Department of Innovation Management, innovation is not only taught but also actively practised. As students in this department, we had the unique opportunity to apply our theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios. During an Innovation Workshop at the Youth Camp on Hochkar, we were able to show pupils how to develop innovative ideas using creativity techniques.
This workshop was a valuable experience for us, as we were able to apply the skills we had learned directly. Creativity techniques are not only useful for inventing something completely new, but also for rethinking and further developing existing concepts. The results of the workshop highlighted how important these skills are – both for us and for the next generation.
The focus was on methods that help to break through entrenched thinking patterns and generate fresh ideas. Through various creativity techniques, the pupils were able to unlock their full creative potential. The results were impressive: the young people demonstrated not only remarkable problem-solving skills but also a deep understanding of the diverse areas where innovation is relevant – whether in social, economic, technical, or creative contexts.
We are thrilled by the creative ideas and perspectives the pupils developed. It was inspiring to see how much potential lies within young minds, and we are proud to have been part of this process. The fresh and often unconventional approaches they chose have shown us that innovation knows no age.
