The legislator has passed many new guidelines in the area of sustainability, for the implementation of which there are still no ‘best practice examples’ (e.g.: analysis of the value chain, materiality matrix, implementation of the relevant instruments and tools). This university course will familiarise you with all the relevant guidelines and indices and introduce you to strategic risk management.

This university course ‘Sustainability Controlling Compact’ is part of several modular continuing education programmes. If you wish, you can also complete further, more in-depth university courses and certificate programmes on the broad subject area of corporate sustainability work. Individual university courses can be combined into three different certificate qualifications and/or several university courses and certificate programmes up to the completion of the academic course ‘Sustainability Management’.
If you have completed all sustainability management programmes by October 2027 at the latest, you will be awarded the title of ‘Academic Sustainability Manager’.
