INTERNATIONAL

In an increasingly globalized world, people with experience abroad are in high demand. International experience promotes professional and personal development, improves foreign language skills, familiarizes students with other cultures and, last but not least, enables them to make international contacts relevant to their studies and career.

We promote student mobility in the form of study visits and work placements. In addition, due to our strong focus on part-time study programs, we offer students who are unable to go abroad for at least 2 months alternative opportunities for mobility: summer schools, study and language trips.

Study trip

„Die Beste Bildung findet ein Gescheiter Mensch auf Reisen“ (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe 1749-1832)

As part of their studies on the Financial Accounting degree programs, students have the opportunity to take part in a study trip. The destination is selected by the degree program in consultation with the students. The only condition is that the destination is in Europe and that the degree program has or can acquire a partner university there.

The 2017 study trip to Žilina by the Accounting & Controlling department with students from all semesters took place from April 30 to May 4, 2017.

Language trip

Every year, CAMPUS 02 invites all students to take part in the CAMPUS 02 language trip, with a maximum of 24 places available. This mobility measure is supported by a separate scholarship.

You can find more information here.

Summer Schools

CAMPUS 02 supports the participation of its students in selected summer schools with its own scholarship (for detailed information, see Scholarship Guidelines). Every student has the opportunity to attend summer schools abroad during the summer holidays. There, students can complete courses, make contacts and friends and travel to foreign countries at the same time. If the course content also corresponds to part of the curriculum at CAMPUS 02, students can apply in advance for the content to be recognised.

Internships and study periods abroad

As part of the Bachelor's degree in Financial Accounting, students have to complete an internship in the 6th semester, either in Austria or abroad. The curriculum and therefore the course schedule for each semester is predetermined for UAS degree programs. This means that students at a university of applied sciences rarely have the opportunity to spend a semester abroad as part of their studies. In this respect, every student can only be advised to take advantage of this opportunity and complete their internship abroad.

A study or internship abroad offers the opportunity to change perspectives, grow with new tasks, acquire or deepen foreign language skills and immerse yourself in a foreign culture. The friendships that are made during this time often last a lifetime and represent not only a valuable private but also professional international network.

For more information about internships abroad and possible funding or scholarships, please contact the International Office.

Erasmus+

Erasmus+ is currently the most comprehensive scholarship programme for study periods and internships abroad. The EU education programme supports people of all ages across Europe in their search for beneficial learning opportunities. Students can study at a European university for 3 to 12 months as part of Erasmus+ without losing study time or paying tuition fees. Erasmus+ also offers the unique opportunity to acquire new specialised knowledge and professional skills through an internship (2 to 12 months) and to develop the ability to adapt to new environments. It is also an opportunity to improve language skills, acquire intercultural competence and make contacts with universities, companies and new friends throughout Europe. You can find more information at: erasmusplus.at

If you are interested in an Erasmus+ student mobility, we recommend the following procedure:

  • Visit the FH CAMPUS 02 university cooperations under the following link
  • As soon as you have decided on one of the universities or colleges on offer, please take a close look at the curriculum for the relevant course.
  • As soon as you have familiarized yourself with the relevant curriculum of the partner university or college, please contact Professor Reautschnig to check whether the equivalent courses will be covered during your study visit.
    • Please send a comparison of the courses you would like to complete abroad and the courses that should be credited to your current curriculum at CAMPUS 02 instead. You can find the corresponding "Learning Agreement" form in the download area
  • As soon as the question of eligibility has been clarified, please contact Ms. Maja Zelenik (international@campus02.at) to clarify the further formalities.

Students and graduates can complete an internship in the Erasmus+ program countries. This internship can be completed in companies, training and research institutions or other organizations that are suitable for promoting and enabling the agreed learning progress for the respective university studies.
