The university course ‘Financial Analysis’ is a continuing education programme that teaches skills in analysing the financial performance of companies using key performance indicators (KPIs). Graduates of this module will be able to calculate and interpret key financial figures from published and internal company financial data and derive recommendations for action.

What you can expect from the university course

Contents & focus

The university course ‘Financial Analysis’ has the following content and therefore focal points:

  • Analysing the net assets, financial position and results of operations of companies
  • Determination of key performance indicators (KPI)
  • Analysis of liquidity, profitability, capital structure
  • Key figure systems
  • Development of key figure cockpits

The entire course comprises 4 ECTS credits (32 units). The assessment is as follows:

  • Online exam
  • Project work

Duration: 2 attendance days on site at CAMPUS 02 and 4 online evenings

32 teaching units of which 37.5 % online teaching

Prerequisites

3 years of professional experience in the commercial sector and a school-leaving certificate

Sie können auf Wunsch auch die weiteren Hochschulkurse/Module (Basics in Corporate Finance, Financial Business Modelling, Business Valuation) absolvieren, die Bestandteil des Zertifikatslehrgangs Expert in Corporate Finance sind. Bei erfolgreicher Teilnahme wird Ihnen der Titel Certified Expert in Corporate Finance verliehen.
