Declaration on accessibility

CAMPUS 02 UAS endeavours to make its website www.campus02.at accessible in accordance with the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) as amended for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 October 2016 on the accessibility of the websites and mobile applications of public sector bodies and the Accessibility Act (BaFG).

Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is partially accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at compliance level AA. We plan to successively rectify the accessibility deficiencies.

Preparation of this declaration
This declaration was last revised on 12/08/2025. The evaluation of the website was based on a self-assessment by CAMPUS 02 UAS.

Content that is not accessible
The contents listed below are not barrier-free for the following reasons:

Reason: Incompatibility with accessibility regulations

  • Not all images on the website have an alternative text. For some images, this is available but not useful. Font icons integrated as CSS content are not always correctly hidden or labelled, which is why they cannot always be correctly recognised by screen readers.
  • Embedded videos do not always have a sufficient text description.
  • Files with office application formats (e.g. PDF and MS Office files) are only partially accessible. When new editions of the documents are published, attention is paid to the fulfilment of accessibility requirements.
  • There are deficiencies in the keyboard operability of components, which will be rectified as part of future adaptations to our website.

Reason: Exceptions due to disproportionate workload

  • Some videos that are to be regarded as additional content do not have an audio description, as the basic information can also be found in text form on the website.
  • Print publications can be downloaded in PDF form from the website (e.g. series of publications). These are not fully accessible. Here, too, content is presented that is also available in summarised text form on the website. For newer publications, we endeavour to implement the accessibility requirements. In the case of older publications, the effort involved represents a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations.

Reason: Not within the scope of the legislation

  • The website offers files with office application formats (e.g. PDF) for download that were published before September 2018. These do not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation due to their lack of administrative relevance.
  • The website contains recorded time-based media, such as video and audio media, which were published before September 2020. These also do not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation.
  • Third-party content that was neither financed nor developed by CAMPUS 02 UAS and is therefore not under its control.
  • Content that is considered archives and therefore only contains information that is neither required for ongoing administrative procedures nor has been updated or revised since September 2019.
