Please upload your application documents within the communicated deadline in the self-service area at https://online.campus02.at.

Please refer to the General Application Documents section for information on the general application documents to be uploaded.

After a successful review of your application documents, you will receive an invitation to the admission interview by email. If, after reviewing the documents, you are placed on the waiting list for the interview, you will also be informed of this by email.

General application documents

Mandatory documents

Bachelor's Degree Programmes

The following application documents must be uploaded in the relevant section of the application system as part of your application for a Bachelor's degree programme:

  • Passport photo
  • Passport
  • CV
  • Motivational letter
  • Proof of entry requirements for the Bachelor’s programme (e.g., school-leaving certificate, apprenticeship certificate – can be submitted later if necessary). If not available at the time of application, the latest available annual report card must be uploaded.
  • For applications to a programme where the primary language of instruction is German:
    Proof of German language proficiency at level B2 (can also be provided as part of the proof of entry requirements, e.g., school-leaving certificate).
  • For applications to a programme where the primary language of instruction is English:
    Proof of English language proficiency at level B2 (can also be provided as part of the proof of entry requirements, e.g., school-leaving certificate).

Master's Degree Programmes

The following application documents must be uploaded in the relevant section of the application system as part of your application for a Master's degree programme:

  • Passport photo
  • Passport
  • CV
  • Motivational letter
  • Proof of meeting the entry requirements for previous studies (e.g., secondary school-leaving certificate, apprenticeship certificate).
  • Proof of entry requirements for the Master’s programme (e.g., Bachelor’s degree certificate – can be submitted later if necessary).
  • Certificates with grades of achievements from previous studies (Transcript of Records).
  • Presentation and justification of the subject relevance of previous studies (the corresponding form can be downloaded from the application portal).
  • Proof of German language proficiency at level B2 (can also be provided as part of the proof of entry requirements, e.g., school-leaving certificate).

Optional documents

The following application documents will additionally contribute to the assessment of your application (applies to all programmes):

  • Job or role description of current employment
  • Certificates of other relevant education and training
  • Brief description of academic work completed in previous studies
  • Letter of support from the employer regarding time flexibility for studying alongside employment
  • Recommendation letters (especially from teachers, university lecturers, current and former employers)

Please also note the programme-specific application documents defined by certain programmes, which contribute to the assessment of your application.

Application documents for the Bachelor’s degree programme in Automation Technology and the Bachelor’s degree programme in Smart Automation

Bachelor's Degree Programme Automation Technology

For the information of the committee and to better demonstrate your suitability for the desired programme, additional application documents may be defined by the programme director. For the Bachelor’s degree programme in Automation Technology, a brief description of a technical project will contribute to the assessment of the application documents.

Brief description of a technical project

Please provide an example of a technical project from your personal or professional experience, ideally related to automation technology (or at least in one of the three fields: mechanical engineering, computer science, and/or electrical engineering).

Format:

  • Length: The text should be half to a full A4 page and should additionally be supported with photos, illustrations, diagrams, technical drawings, etc.
  • File format: PDF

Bachelor's Degree Programme Smart Automation

For the information of the commission and a better presentation of your suitability for the intended study programme, additional application documents can be defined by the head of the study degree programme. For the Bachelor’s degree programme in Smart Automation, the brief description of a technical project is included in the evaluation of the application documents:

Please present an example of a technical project from your private or professional environment, ideally with reference to automation technology (but at least to one of the three subject areas of mechanical engineering, computer science and/or electrical engineering).

Format:

For the information of the committee and to better demonstrate your suitability for the desired programme, additional application documents may be defined by the programme director. For the Bachelor’s degree programme in Marketing & Sales, the completion of the following programme-specific task will contribute to the assessment of the application documents:

Assignment on the topic of Marketing & Sales

You are regularly surrounded by various products and brands, along with their advertising appearances and marketing efforts. Reflect on your favourite product or brand:

  • Explain your choice. What makes this product/brand special? Why is it your favourite brand/product?
  • Imagine you are the sales director—what could you do to boost the sales of the product or increase the brand's awareness?
  • Imagine you are the marketing director—what challenges could the product/brand face in the future? What recommendations would you give to ensure the product/brand has opportunities in the global market going forward?

Format:

  • Font: Arial
  • Font size: 12
  • 1.5 line spacing
  • Length: maximum of one A4 page
  • File format: PDF

Application documents for the Master’s degree programmes in Digital Marketing and Entrepreneurship & Sales Management

To inform the committee and better demonstrate your suitability for the desired programme, the completion of the following task will contribute to the assessment of your application documents:

Creation of a video pitch

A primary goal of the application process is to determine why you are particularly suited for this programme and in what ways you may be more qualified than other applicants. Create a pitch (video or animated illustration) to convince us why you should be accepted into the programme. Both the substance of your message and the creativity of your presentation will be evaluated.

Instructions for completion

  • Video length: maximum of 3 minutes
  • Supported video formats: mp4, mkv (Matroska)
  • Maximum video size: 100 MB (Larger files cannot be uploaded. Please ensure the video size is limited accordingly.)
