The Master's course focuses on the development of service business models, strategic service management and service controlling of hybrid technical and IT-based services. The information and communication technologies of the 21st century in particular are driving innovation in the service sector. With ICT support, it is now possible to implement business models that were unthinkable just a few years ago (e.g. Car2Go). Service business models are thus becoming smarter, more integrative and more cross-technology, but centrally managed by ICT.
At the heart of the course is a comprehensive understanding of the prevailing tertiarization effects in society and the ability to advise and manage a successful service-oriented technology company in the development of successful business models.
Graduates of this Master's program have in-depth economic and specialist knowledge in the field of hybrid technical and IT-based services and are prepared for tasks in service business model development, improvement, service consulting and the development of smart services.
