This university course ensures the acquisition of absolute core competences in the field of accounting. After completing this university course, graduates will be able to understand the double-entry bookkeeping system and the accounting cycle. Graduates will not only be able to post current business transactions, but also interpret and analyse the effects of these postings on the balance sheet and income statement items.

This university course ‘Double-entry accounting for career changers’ is part of a modular continuing education programme. If you wish, you can also complete the other university courses ‘Content analysis of the balance sheet and profit and loss account’, ‘Actual and budgeted cost accounting for employees with cost responsibility’ and ‘Corporate planning and budgeting of organisational units’. If you have completed all four university courses required for the ‘Certified Expert in Corporate Planning’ certificate programme by February 2025 at the latest, you will be awarded the title of Certified Expert in Corporate Planning.
