Participation is voluntary - you will be given the opportunity to leave the room before filming begins. CAMPUS 02 has a contractual obligation to ensure a proper running of the degree programmes. In this context, online courses and online examinations are offered via Microsoft \u201cTeams\u201d in order to ensure up-to-date and functioning teaching activities. In addition, various web-based (learning) tools (Padlet, Kahoot and Mentimeter) are used in teaching to support an innovative and interactive teaching and learning environment at the cutting edge.<\/p>
If you would like to make your contributions to the trade union via CAMPUS 02 UAS, you can also inform us of your trade union affiliation on a voluntary basis. Again, we will only process this information based on your consent.<\/p>
The consents given according to Art. 6 para. 1 cl. a of the GDPR can be withdrawn individually at any time. According to Art. 13 para. 8 of the University of Applied Sciences Studies Act (Fachhochschulgesetz, FHG), all data required to prove that a student has graduated (e.g. course unit data) is stored for 80 years, starting from the end of the academic year in which the study contract of the student expires.<\/p>
The data required to issue an employment reference (e.g. employment period, role etc.) are saved for 30 years according to 1478 of the Austrian Civil Code (Allgemein B\u00fcrgerliches Gesetzbuch, ABGB). Once the retention period has expired, the data will be deleted.<\/p>
The data processed in the course of the student evaluation will be stored for 7 years in accordance with the certification period of the QM system pursuant to \u00a7 22 (4) of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Act (HS-QSG). Once the retention period has expired, the data will be deleted.<\/p>
The data collected in the course of the appraisal interview will be deleted when the employee leaves the company. Irrespective of the end of the employment relationship, employee interview forms older than 5 years are deleted.<\/p>
The data processed within the framework of the time recording app will be deleted at the end of the following semester.<\/p>
All data (log files) collected in connection with the locking system are stored for a period of one month. After this period they will be irrevocably deleted.<\/p>

This data collected by us for professional external presentation and for documentation purposes, the processing of which is based on the legitimate interest, is processed for as long as is necessary for the data processing purposes. In the case of image\/video material, this depends in particular on the nature, content and environment of the recordings and whether they are suitable for use in FH documentation - e.g. to present snapshots of the history or development of FH CAMPUS 02 - and\/or for external presentation on the website. We use Microsoft Office 365 as the cloud service for our e-mail correspondence as well as for the provision of online classes and online examinations. Hosting is mainly provided within the European Union in accordance with European data protection laws. Some services and technical support can also be provided from outside of the EU. Some profile data (names, password, PUID number) is also saved in the US.<\/p>
On July 10, 2023, the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework (data protection agreement between the EU and the USA). If providers in the USA certify themselves in accordance with these data protection requirements (which, among other things, restrict access to data by US authorities and provide legal protection for EU citizens), an adequate level of data protection is generally guaranteed for data transfers. You can check which providers are included in the list here: https:\/\/www.dataprivacyframework.gov\/s\/participant-search<\/span><\/a><\/p>Microsoft has undergone this self-certification. The data transfer can therefore be based on the adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework as a valid legal basis for data transfers to the USA. Furthermore, the standard contractual clauses and additional technical and organizational measures guaranteed by Microsoft also apply. Padlet is a US application and is subject to Privacy Framework certification. The data transfer can therefore be based on the adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework as a valid legal basis for data transfers to the USA. Kahoot and Mentimeter originate from the EU\/EEA area, but also use US service providers. They base the data transfer on appropriate guarantees in accordance with Art. 46 ff GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. These providers may also create user profiles for their own purposes. Hosting is mainly provided within the European Union in accordance with European data protection laws. Some services and technical support can also be provided from outside of the EU. Some profile data (names, password, PUID number) is also saved in the US.<\/p>
On July 10, 2023, the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework (data protection agreement between the EU and the USA). If providers in the USA certify themselves in accordance with these data protection requirements (which, among other things, restrict access to data by US authorities and provide legal protection for EU citizens), an adequate level of data protection is generally guaranteed for data transfers. All data (log files) collected in connection with the locking system are stored for a period of one month. After this period they will be irrevocably deleted.<\/p>

All other data that we processed is usually deleted after 10 years.<\/p>
This data collected by us for professional external presentation and for documentation purposes, the processing of which is based on the legitimate interest, is processed for as long as is necessary for the data processing purposes. In the case of image\/video material, this depends in particular on the nature, content and environment of the recordings and whether they are suitable for use in FH documentation - e.g. to present snapshots of the history or development of FH CAMPUS 02 - and\/or for external presentation on the website. You have the option of submitting an explicit objection at datenschutz@campus02.at<\/span><\/a> .<\/p>
The retention period may be extended in all cases where judicial or administrative proceedings are pending in which CAMPUS 02 UAS has party status and in which this data is at issue.<\/p>
It is possible to request that data be anonymised instead of deleted. In this case, any references to persons are irreversibly removed. Processors engaged by us may also process data for us to fulfill the purposes described if they offer sufficient guarantees for the security of the data. The above-mentioned data is viewed and processed by external IT service providers, for example, in the event of support. Video recordings are generally created and processed by external videographers.<\/p>

In addition, due to legal and contractual provisions, individual relevant data of lecturers and researchers is transferred to:<\/p>
- the Electoral Commission for the University of Applied Sciences Board elections;<\/li>
- the University of Applied Sciences Board while carrying out tasks according to the FHG;<\/li>
- academic year representatives according to the Regulation for the Involvement of Students at CAMPUS 02 UAS; and<\/li>
- funding bodies and their agents that fund projects financed by third parties.<\/li><\/ul>
We use Microsoft Office 365 as the cloud service for our e-mail correspondence as well as for the provision of online classes and online examinations. Hosting is mainly provided within the European Union in accordance with European data protection laws. Some services and technical support can also be provided from outside of the EU. Some profile data (names, password, PUID number) is also saved in the US.<\/p>
On July 10, 2023, the European Commission adopted an adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework (data protection agreement between the EU and the USA). If providers in the USA certify themselves in accordance with these data protection requirements (which, among other things, restrict access to data by US authorities and provide legal protection for EU citizens), an adequate level of data protection is generally guaranteed for data transfers. Microsoft has undergone this self-certification. The data transfer can therefore be based on the adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework as a valid legal basis for data transfers to the USA. Furthermore, the standard contractual clauses and additional technical and organizational measures guaranteed by Microsoft also apply. As a lecturer, you can use various web-based (learning) tools (Padlet, Kahoot and Mentimeter) to support different teaching and learning methods as part of the digitalization offensive. These are Padlet (https:\/\/legal.padlet.com\/privacy<\/span><\/a>), Kahoot (https:\/\/trust.kahoot.com\/privacy-policy\/<\/span><\/a>) and Mentimeter (https:\/\/www.mentimeter.com\/de-DE\/trust\/legal\/privacy-policy<\/span><\/a>). Padlet is a US application and is subject to Privacy Framework certification. The data transfer can therefore be based on the adequacy decision on the Data Privacy Framework as a valid legal basis for data transfers to the USA. Kahoot and Mentimeter originate from the EU\/EEA area, but also use US service providers. They base the data transfer on appropriate guarantees in accordance with Art. 46 ff GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. These providers may also create user profiles for their own purposes. Zur Verwaltung und Absicherung der IT-Infrastruktur setzt die FH CAMPUS 02 das IT-Asset-Management-System \u201e<\/span>Lansweeper<\/span>\u201c ein.<\/span><\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/span>Die im Rahmen dieses Systems verarbeiteten Daten werden in der\u202f<\/span>Lansweeper<\/span>\u202fCloud gespeichert, die in Rechenzentren innerhalb der Europ\u00e4ischen Union (AWS Irland) betrieben wird.<\/span><\/span>\u202f<\/span><\/span>Lansweeper<\/span>\u202fsetzt zur Erbringung seiner Leistungen Sub-Auftragsverarbeiter ein, teilweise auch in Drittstaaten (z. In fulfilment of the employment contract (Art. 6 Para. 1 letter b GDPR), CAMPUS 02 UAS will provide you with software tools so that you can carry out your tasks and duties. For example, the cloud service \u201cUnipark\u201d provided by the company Questback is made available for conducting online surveys. Data is therefore transferred to Questback for the purpose of conducting the survey.
