(EAS-Lab) is a digital electrical energy laboratory distributed across two locations. The two labs were funded by the Styrian Future Fund and opened in early 2020. These components enable the analysis, expansion, and further development of both existing and future energy-related issues and business models. Since the opening of the EAS-Lab, funded R&amp;D projects have been carried out, and research and development projects have been implemented on behalf of local companies.<\/p><p>As energy generators, various stationary photovoltaic systems and a tracking PV system are available. To increase self-consumption and for experimental purposes, two energy storage units have been installed. Additionally, various consumers such as infrared panels, air conditioning systems, and electric vehicle charging stations are available. Furthermore, several smart meters and measuring devices are installed to capture relevant energy metrics. For interested students, the EAS-Lab's infrastructure offers ideal opportunities for developing project and thesis work in the future-relevant fields of energy research. This is reflected in the steadily growing number of theses that include significant contributions from the
