Testimonial Zinner
Viktoria Zinner, BSc, MBA

Viktoria Zinner graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management at FH CAMPUS 02.

“The Degree Programme in Innovation Management opened new doors for me during, and especially after, the degree course. On the one hand, during projects at FH CAMPUS 02 and in my job at the time in Product Management at KNAPP I was able to put into practice what I had learnt. On the other hand, I improved my personal and social skills which also came from the challenge of juggling my job, my studies and my family.

After completing the Bachelor degree programme I studied an MBA at Bournemouth University in England before daring to take the step of setting up my own business. I now work in the area of innovation and work-life balance both nationally and internationally. The know-how which I acquired during the Degree Programme in Innovation Management is a valuable tool which I use every single day.”

Testimonial Straschek
Ing. Gudrun Straschek, BSc. M.A.

“My motivation to study the Bachelor degree programme was the idea of further developing myself and my skills in a challenging and future-oriented subject. The Degree Programme in Innovation Management presented me with that very opportunity. In my current role as Project Planner and Cost Accountant at BDI - BioDiesel International AG – I act as the interface between very different technical departments, R&D and sales & project management. I was able to apply much of the content learnt directly in my job, thus helping to shape the tailor-made solutions that BDI offers to its customers. The cross-thinking and opportunity thinking that I was taught during my course help me in my position, as do the broad range of listening skills. After this positive development during the Bachelor degree programme, on the one hand a change of company and on the other hand further development within the firm, my motivation to study the Master degree programme grew, as did my desire to enrich my knowledge of strategic management tasks in innovation management so as to create the best possible starting situation for me vis-à-vis new tasks in the company.

With hindsight, the challenge of studying whilst in full-time employment was a formative and enriching experience with many plus points. In addition to the knowledge taught, personal further development and the opportunity of active networking were also key. During the course you are exposed to many different perceptions and approaches which come to light not least through the exchange of experiences and the interesting discussions with lecturers and fellow students who are working professionals. All of that enables you to expand your own horizons and to put forward approaches for formulating solutions.”

"When I started the Bachelor degree programme in 2005 I was working as a consultant for Siblik. Whilst studying the Bachelor course I was promoted to Key Account Manager. I was responsible for the development of the photovoltaic market in Slovenia and Italy and looked after clients in Germany, Spain, Slovakia and Bulgaria.

As a result of graduating from the Master Degree Programme, I was promoted by Siblik again in January 2010 to the position of Export Manager.”

Testimonial Eberl
Ing. Christian Eberl, BSc. M.A.

Christian Eberl graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management and then from the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management.

"Right from the very start of my part-time Degree Programme Innovation Management at FH CAMPUS 02 I was able to put the knowledge acquired to very good use both in my daily professional activities and during special projects with AVL List GmbH for the good of the company.

The wide-ranging content of the Bachelor and Master programmes ultimately enabled me to change my job from that of Customer Account Administrator to my current position of Product Manager / Development Engineer, a role in which I particularly benefit from the technical listening skills and the operational and strategic aspects of the degree programme.”

Testimonial_Luehrs
Dipl.-Ing. Lutz Lührs, M.A.

Mr Lutz Lührs graduated from the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management.

"My initial training as a food technician combined with several years of relevant professional experience enables me to develop new food products. I work as Head of the Product Development Centre for the Grünewald International group of companies. Leading product development means that in addition to my main product development activities - ranging from customer contact to idea generation and from food technology problem-solving to scale-up for the manufacturing phase - I also oversee personnel matters, closely monitor sector developments and report to the company’s Management Board.

In my role I have undoubtedly found the solid training in innovation management to be an extremely valuable and practice-relevant complement to my initial training.”

Rechling-Greimel
DI Markus Rechling-Greimel, M.A.

Mr Rechling-Greimel graduated from the FH CAMPUS 02 Diploma Programme in Automation Technology in 2004. In 2008 he embarked on the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management which he successfully completed in February 2010.

""I head up the Automation Technology Department at Salmon Automation. This specialist department deals with control engineering and electro-technical solutions for fully and part-automated storage logistic systems. In my role I am responsible for some 25 employees in Austria, Germany and Switzerland who create overall logistics systems in international projects. For a long time now this has no longer been possible with standard “off the shelf” solutions; customers expect innovative and, above all, individual solutions and approaches. As such, it is not exclusively the technical feasibility which spells success, but most importantly the capacity to motivate employees to use their innovation potential and in that way to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

That is the main reason why I decided to embark on the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management, since a large chunk of the course content develops those very topics. I was also persuaded by the business components of the Master programme which complement the technical training that I had previously notched up.”

Testimonial_Fail2
Matthias Fail, BSc. M.A.

Matthias Fail graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management and then from the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management.

"I was already working as a product configuration engineer at Atronic when I started my degree course in 2005. Within the framework of my activities at that time I was responsible for the preparation, coordination and administration of product releases, product modifications and market-specific product configurations. The degree programme initially helped me to be able to adapt to new task areas, and as such I was able to take on a coordinative role in the department within a short space of time. During the course I refined my analytical skills and my powers of perception. Thanks to my focus on implementation I am now able to continuously find excellent solutions to problems. In 2009, I was promoted to the position of Project Manager at Atronic.

I always found the part-time course for working professionals to be very accommodating. In my opinion it was the ideal way for me to combine my professional career with my studies. I was able to immediately implement knowledge acquired and to try it out in my daily activities, whilst also contributing directly to the various teaching sessions with important input from my practical professional experience.”

Testimonial_Schreymeyer
Silvio Schreymayer, BSc. M.A.

Silvio Schreymayer graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management and then from the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management.

"When I started the Bachelor course I was working for SKF ECONOMOS GmbH in the R&D Department as a technician. My areas of activity included the elaboration of designs, overseeing seal tests and the related evaluation of the test-stand analyses.

During my degree course the focus shifted and with it my activities at SKF ECONOMOS GmbH. As Head of the Seal Test Centre I am currently the main person responsible for all seal test installations in Judenburg. My innovation management training at FH CAMPUS 02 has stood me in excellent stead in my professional career to date, since I understand relationships within the company in an integrated way and am able to take into account business, technical, legal, personnel and international aspects, all of which allows me to execute my role as a departmental head.”

Testimonial_Waltenberger
DI Thomas Waltenberger, M.A.

Mr Waltenberger graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Mechanical Engineering at the Vienna University of Technology in 2003. He then embarked on the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management at FH CAMPUS 02 in 2008 which he successfully completed in February 2010.

“For the past 4 years now I have been working for LKR Leichtmetallkompetenzzentrum Ranshofen. LKR is a subsidiary of the Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). I develop, lead and am responsible for demanding development projects during which technologies for future vehicle concepts are elaborated and then, working together with automobile industry firms, converted into product and process innovations.

A great deal of the Master Degree Programme in Innovation Management content, such as systematic innovation, complements the elements of the technical degree which I had previously studied. The methodical understanding which I acquired helps me in my daily project work to see technical assignments in an integrated context. Within the company I actively introduce knowledge of those factors and approaches which enable innovations to be born from technical solutions.

I intensively implemented the strategic management and business development knowledge that I acquired from my degree programme during a restructuring process in the company where I work. That meant that I was able to make a significant contribution to the strategic realignment of the company. The method skills and the necessary entrepreneurial way of thinking learnt at FH CAMPUS 02 were of great help to me when systematically structuring the strategy process and developing content in a team. Another task is the formulation of an innovation process which is to be rolled out across the whole group unit. I am extremely happy to be able to play a part in the pro-innovation structuring of the company thanks to the skills which I have learnt.”

Absolventin Bachelorstudium

Elke Barbara Bachler graduated from the Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management with distinction.

“During my professional career I have gained experience in a wide range of different sectors. My activity fields have included fundamental medical research, the tourism service sector and the area of IT and design. The Bachelor Degree Programme in Innovation Management gave me the chance to refresh the knowledge that I had acquired during my working life, to combine it in a meaningful way and to complete the missing elements. A colourful blend of components came together making for an interesting course.

I found the lectures on topics as varied as value-generating creativity and systematic innovation, as well as ongoing training in project teams, particularly fascinating and worthwhile. After completing the Bachelor programme I set up my own company kreaWERFT and since then have been providing services in the innovation project management sector.”
