The skills that you will acquire:

You will be able to apply methods which serve the systematic generation of ideas as well as their evaluation and realisation.

You will receive fundamental training in business, marketing and product management which will equip you with the skills needed to evaluate the economic effects of a new innovation, to work together with business economists in a team and to successfully introduce innovations onto the market.

You will develop technical listening skills enabling you to collaborate with technical experts on projects.

You will master skills in the areas of team leadership, work and presentation techniques, self-management and project management, problem-solving methods and the sale of innovations.
During the Bachelor degree programme you will learn all you need to know to be in a position to successfully shape the future of a company through innovation projects. Do you think that all sounds too pretentious? Believe us: you can achieve anything provided that you apply the correct methods at the right time. And we’ll show you how it’s done!
Throughout the course you will busy yourself with questions about the development of innovations: from the generation of ideas right through to their market launch. We will show you how innovations are manufactured on an assembly line, how to roll out interdepartmental, cross-hierarchical and cross-company (!) innovation projects, and how you as the decision maker can win people over with your arguments. In doing so we stay true to the wise words of the founder of BrainStore:

That is why at the start of your degree programme we will give you your own personal, but still empty, method box which you will gradually fill and stock up as you go along. In the future, this individually compiled tool kit will prove to be your most important companion, since with it you will be able to generate solutions for every – and we really do mean every – possible situation which may arise.

... we will give you the chance to make those mistakes during your degree programme, as your knowledge and skills will put to the test during a variety of practical projects. That way you will see how to combine theory with practice, learn which mistakes you should avoid in the future, and get a taste of what it is like to work with other forward-driving minds and opportunity thinkers. Yes, you have read correctly! With your input and our degree programme you will see yourself transformed into one of those veritable forward-driving minds of innovation management! For that you will need to master technical and business fundamentals, since in the future you will be developing cross-departmental projects for which you will draw on know-how from a wide range of different company areas. In addition, each semester you will be given technical English lessons enabling you to work on the international stage and to ensure that you personally are not misunderstood. You will also complete personality training to improve your soft skills. In short, we will provide you with everything you need to be successful.
Thanks to the knowledge and professional experience which you will acquire in tandem, you will see yourself rise to a management position, because any company who doesn’t want to be left behind by progress will call on your services sooner or later. Within the framework of our training you will also have the opportunity to gain certificates which are recognised across the globe (e.g.: TRIZ Module 1+2, Business English Certificate, quality and project management certificates...).
The Bachelor degree programme concludes with two Bachelor theses and a final examination. After successful completion students gain the qualification of Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSc).
