Study Process:
In the beginning of every semester an intensive week from Monday to Friday 13:45 to 21:30 and some weekends per semester (Fri 13:45 - 21:30, Sat 8:00 - 16:00)

Tuition fee of EUR 363,36 per semester plus the legal ÖH-contribution (currently EUR 17,50) for citizens of the EU/EWR - for citizens of third countries -->menu point Internationals

Research & Development

In the Information Technologies & Business Informatics Department, the fields of expertise at hand are brought together as focal research themes. The main emphasis is on IT-based services and is reflected in three research and development areas.

  • Service engineering – procedure models to structure service development (a) applied research towards the optimisation of the model and improvement of its applicability for small and medium-sized enterprises; (b) flexible approach to the optimisation of service development; (c) increased maturity of the market introduction of (IT) services.
  • Smart services – autonomous systems for IT-based services.
  • Development of market-ready IT-based services for small and medium-sized enterprises.  

An interdisciplinary research team covering the following specialist areas is needed for such focused research:   

  • Business studies and marketing
  • Strategic management
  • Process management 
  • Technology management
  • Information technologies: internet technology, software engineering, security
