Internationalisation

Work placements abroad

Within the framework of the Bachelor Degree Programme in Financial Accounting & Management Accounting students complete a work placement during their 6th semester – either in Austria or abroad.

All degree programme curricula and teaching timetables at universities of applied sciences for any given semester are clearly defined in advance, meaning that students hardly have the chance to spend a semester abroad during their course. Therefore, they are strongly encouraged to seize this opportunity and to complete their work placement in a foreign country.

Please click here to view some executive reports prepared by students who completed their work placements abroad. For more detailed information about work placements abroad and available funding and grants, please visit the internationalisation section of our website.

Study trips

Within the degree programme framework in the Financial Accounting & Management Accounting Department, students have the chance to participate in study trips. For an overview of how such trips work, please read the field reports below:

Language trips

Once a year (in February) UAS CAMPUS 02 organises a language trip for any students keen to take part, giving them the opportunity to complete a 2-week intensive language course and to enjoy a varied sightseeing programme.

Summer schools

Each student has the chance to go to a summer school abroad during the summer holidays. Participants attend teaching sessions and build up contacts and friendships whilst exploring foreign countries.

In the event that course content corresponds to part of the UAS CAMPUS 02 timetable, students can request accreditation in advance. The Financial Accounting & Management Accounting Department allows accreditation for successful completion of the following summer schools in summer 2010:

List will be made available in February 2010.
